Merry Christmas! I’m posting this late after a long, happy, rainy day in Sydney, Australia. The kids were up early but waited (mostly) patiently until everyone else made an appearance. There was an abundance of gifts, so it was nice to see the little ones appreciative and sweet.

A feast of fresh prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, scallops, salt and pepper calamari and salads for 16 people under a tent outside was cozy and fun with the heavy Sydney rain falling around us.

The weather didn’t stop the men from braving stand-up paddle boards out on the harbor after lunch.

A dessert table laden with Christmas pudding with brandy butter and custard, a rocky road Christmas tree, mince pies, and home-made shortbread finished off a pretty spectacular day. Thanks for hosting K & K!
