What I’m Wearing…

October 27, 2015

A print blouse with a pair of jeans, or a skirt might just be my Fall uniform this year. I love this pumpkin orange color and the mid-century modern print. The scale of the pattern is almost too small for my frame but it seemed to work when I tried it on (that’s always the test!).

By pairing it with some distressed jeans and my favorite ballet flats, it prevents it from looking too dressy. I would also wear this with booties in winter.

Try it with a pencil skirt and pumps for work, or a pair of black pants for a dinner date. And don’t be afraid to accessorize this look. Fun earrings and bangles only add to the colorful, upbeat style of the shirt.

      1. The smaller your frame, the smaller the print. That’s the general rule. So this one would work well on you, Jen. I usually need quite large scale prints for my 5’10”, so it was fun to find a smaller one that worked!
