21 simple ways to bring Fall home

September 24, 2015

It always surprises me when friends come into my home and tell me I’ve made big changes since their last visit, when in fact I’ve usually swapped a painting from one wall to another, added a pillow, or bought a new shower curtain.

Little changes can make a big impact. This is also true when getting your place ready for the change of seasons.

Some pretty bowls for nuts or sweet treats, coasters, book ends all subtly but beautifully change the feeling in a room. Look out for jewel tones, greys, navy, and metallics when you’re thinking about throws, pillows, and curtain panels.

A cheeky neutral print on an upholstered chair, a plaid pillow, a drinks tray, and linens will add texture and pops of color and pattern. Ceramic and glass vases bring the shine which can act as the jewelry for a room. No big make-over necessary for this Fall!
