As commercial as Valentine’s Day is, it’s still nice to give and hopefully receive something from the one you love. The old standbys are always a good option: a card, candy, flowers, a succulent in a pot (see suggestions below) but if you want to step it up a bit (or you have a feeling he is going to a bit more trouble for you), here is a gift guide to make your shopping easier.
My one and only has signed off on this guytastic assortment by wandering past and saying, “Yes, I’d like all of those, thanks (he later exempted the record player because he let go of the last of his vinyl a decade ago).”
Alan really loves Kiehls products and gets a tiny bit upset when I ‘borrow’ them. The phone mount is a brilliant design and we each have one in our cars (though it doesn’t fit the really big smart phones).
There are some great design innovations with headphones, tracker bands and phone cases. The watches and sunglasses I’ve sourced are super sleek and stylish and won’t break the bank, and the sweaters…well I love a man in a soft cuddly sweater!
