Martha Stewart’s glazed lemon cookies

June 4, 2014

lemon glazedIf there is such a thing as a refreshing cookie, this is it. It’s a crunchy cookie with the thinnest sweet and tart lemony glaze on top, and they taste as delicious as they look.

I made them heaping tablespoon-sized, but I think next time I ‘d make them smaller. They are extremely satisfying and it would be nicer to try two little cookies rather than one big one. Of course, smaller cookies will go further, and I always like to give a box or two away. It feels like a sweet old-fashioned thing when I bake for friends.

Martha knows a thing or two about baking cookies, so try her recipe. It’s a keeper at my place.
