There is really no need to go out and spend money on a new beach cover-up this summer. Save it for a swimsuit upgrade instead! Beach cover-ups are looking more like regular clothes right now.
Stroll the sand in your swim suit and a pair of colorful or patterned drawstring shorts. A flared, long tank top is one of the easiest things to throw on at the beach, and a maxi skirt with a side slit can cover you from the waist down, or be pulled up and worn as a strapless midi.
Your chambray shirt left unbuttoned is a very cool look, as is a lightweight pair of drawstring pants.
That sundress you worry might be a tad short, makes a great beach dress when paired with flip flops. A mesh top is a no brainer at the beach, relaxed and casual, it lets the sand fall right through! And a maxi tank dress will take you from the waves straight to dinner, in style.
